I have been teaching piano for over 40 years to children ages 7 and
up as well as youth and adults. I especially like to teach
beginning singers who are in high school. Many of my students have
gone on to careers in music.Once per academic year I have "Saturday
Sundae Parties" for my piano students in which we play our songs
for each other and then make (and eat!) ice cream sundaes. Great

I have been performing on and teaching the violin for more than 35
years. I have been a member of the 1st violin section of the
Portland Symphony Orchestra since 1989. I have performed with
virtually every musical arts organization in New England including
the Boston Symphony & Boston Pops Orchestra as well as
with the Orchestra of St. Luke's in NYC. I have also
played at major summer music festivals.
