and is located at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in High Point. St.
Mary's Music Academy is a community music school for children and
adults, enriching the musical environment of High Point and the
greater Piedmont Triad.

experience. All my students read music with ease. Annual recitals
for all students in June. References available upon request. I
encourage parents and other relatives to be involved with the music
education of their child. Adults also benefit from music

I have been teaching music for over 20 years. In addition to
teaching I have worked as a musician and sound engineer for a great
number of famous bands like the Marshall Tucker Band, Levon Helm,
the Indigo Girls and several others. I love bringing the skills I
have learned at a professional level to my students!...
I was born and raised in High Point NC with a very musical family.
At 18 years old I started studying music at University of Tampa,
UNCG, and Shenandoah Conservatory of Music where I earned 2
bachelor degrees in music. I lived in California for 5 years then
returned to NC to raise my 2 children who are now successful
musicians and as adults have blessed me with 5 beautiful
