For almost two decades I have taught a wide diversity of students
ranging from age five to seventy. Aside from teaching private
lessons, I have served on the piano faculty at Winston-Salem State
University and Lenoir-Rhyne University as well as numerous music
academies in the country. I am also a frequent piano faculty at the

St. Mary's Music Academy was founded in 2001 by Margaret McDonald
and is located at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in High Point. St.
Mary's Music Academy is a community music school for children and
adults, enriching the musical environment of High Point and the
greater Piedmont Triad.
Currently Director of Music at a local church. I have 42 years
experience. All my students read music with ease. Annual recitals
for all students in June. References available upon request. I
encourage parents and other relatives to be involved with the music
education of their child. Adults also benefit from music
