My Musical Education Background
I have studied music theory and practice for upwards of 15 years
in Russia and the United States with a focus on piano and cello performance.
Beginning with a comprehensive music study course in Okhta Music Lycee in St. Petersburg, Russia,
I continued learning under the instruction of Miron Yampolsky (student of Mstislav Rostropovich)
after immigrating to the US.
Most recently, I studied composition and piano performance at James Madison University.
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
All ages are welcome to start or to continue their musical training.
My Certifications and Awards
In the US, I have participated in many performance competitions, placing 1st in a number of them.
Over the years, I have composed a wide selection of music for piano, as well as in the electronic medium.
A member of the AYP Orchestra, I have also done select performances with the WBS Orchestra
and even written music for them.
