About Me
I have recently moved to Rogers and would like to expand my current piano studio. I am currently accepting students of all levels and all ages.
Private Piano Instruction
I have taught private piano lessons for 22 years as an independent teacher and also in conjunction with music schools in Dallas/Fort Worth, including The Master\'s Touch School of Music and Performing Arts in Grapevine, Texas, School of the Arts at First Baptist Church of McKinney, Texas, and the Music Conservatory of Texas in Frisco, Texas.
Accompanying
I have accompanied vocalists, instrumentalists, large and small ensembles throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. As a student, I was the accompanist for the Fort Worth Symphony Oratorio Chorus as well as for the SWBTS Men\'s Chorus. I have also accompanied students at public schools and universities, including Dallas Baptist University and Texas Christian University.
Public School Teacher
I was a public school teacher in Texas for eight years with two years at the high school level and six years at the middle school level. During that time I was commended by the Mansfield ISD School Board for outstanding results at the UIL Choral Concert and Sightreading competition. I also successfully implemented group piano class programs at two middle school campuses. I am currently SBEC certified in Texas to teach General Music PK-12 and am working to become certified to teach in Arkansas.
My Musical Education Background
I have studied music for 30 years and been a music educator for 22 years. In 1998 I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Music with a Concentration in Piano Performance from Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary in Bolivar, Missouri. Upon graduation, I also received the Outstanding Music Graduate Award. In 2001 I received my Master's Degree in Church Music with a Concentration in Accompanying from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Genres and Subjects Taught
The Wright Piano Studio is located in Bentonville, Arkansas, and offers beginning, intermediate, and advanced piano lessons to adults and children age six and up. Also offered are beginning voice lessons, music theory lessons and tutoring. Lesson Rates
Tuition and Payment
Students that pay the monthly rate will pay the same each month regardless of how many lessons are received. For instance, you may receive five lessons in one month, but only three in December, when we will take a winter break. Other months may be four lessons, depending on the calendar. Monthly payments will guarantee that your lesson is on the same day at the same time each week.
Monthly Lessons
30 minute = $80
45 minute = $120
1 hour = $160
If you choose to pay weekly, or one lesson at a time, payment is due before the lesson begins and your lesson time is not guaranteed to be the same each week.
Weekly Lessons
30 minute = $35
45 minute = $50
1 hour = $65
The tuition includes the time dedicated to giving private lessons. It also includes time spent in daily preparation for lessons. Tuition payments are expected in advance, on the first lesson day of each month. If the first lesson is missed for any reason, payment for that month should be mailed to the studio. Tuition payment received after the 10th day of the month is subject to a $15 late payment fee. The returned check fee is $25.

Wright Piano Studio offers beginning, intermediate, and advanced piano lessons to students and adults ages 6 and up.
