About Me
Wendy Loeb has been teaching for 30 years with great success. Wendy holds both a Bachelor’s and Master's’ of Music degrees from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in Violin Performance. She studied violin there with Charles Libove and Berl Senofsky. She has also completed the coursework for her doctorate in violin pedagogy. Having completed Suzuki Violin courses, she is a registered Suzuki Violin Teacher, though she takes more of an eclectic approach. Here in San Diego, her students play in their school orchestras as well as participate in Youth Orchestras such as SDYS and CYO and have held principal positions. Though she loves to teach advanced techniques, she has a particular passion for getting beginners off to a great start with a solid foundation on the instrument.
