About Me
Learning piano can be fun. We conduct private and group lessons LIVE ONLINE. If you would like to meet to see how this works, we can schedule a free 30 minute online meeting.
We use computers, interactive technology, electronic keyboards, midi and grand piano.
Study theory, songwriting and conventional piano. Prepare for college auditions or just take lessons for your own enjoyment..

My Musical Education Background
Ms. Carroll McCarthy is the director and piano teacher for The Melody House . She has been teaching for 42 years and has run studios in Washington DC, Virginia Beach, New York and Texas.
She has studied performance, theory and pedagogy for many years and continues to invigorate and keep her skills fresh and up to date.
Schools of study include the Alexandria School of Music, The Princeton School of Music, Royal Academy of Music, Queen's College, UTA, Berklee College of Music, GMU and privately with Tamara Dmitrieff.
Additionally she has performed in London, Texas, and Washington. Other studies include psychology and dance at UTA, Old Dominion, GMU, and VA Tech.
