Until physical classes are safe again, all of our classes are conducted online.  But these are not your typical "public school zoom" classes.  We have designed a special intro-to-piano class for students ages 3.5 to 12 years old.  It is NOT your traditional 30-minute weekly piano lesson!  (Although we also do those lessons, if that is what you are looking for!) Instead, we have short 5-minute weekly videos to be viewed on your own time, an interactive practice app so students get points and stickers for practicing, can interact with other students at the same musical level and ask questions of their teacher between lessons.  Students schedule 8-minute private mini-lessons at their own convenience.  These lessons review the concepts taught in the video, and help the student learn to play at least one new song each week.

My Musical Education Background

All of our teachers are chosen for their expertise with younger children.  Of course, they are also experts on the piano!  Teachers get ongoing training on the best ways to teach children and utilize online activities to maximize fun and education.  

Genres and Subjects Taught

We have a specialized intro to piano class for ages 3.5 to 12 years old.  This is for those beginning piano students or those parents wanting to see about their child's piano interest.  We also offer 30-minute online private lessons for our more serious piano students.  All lessons are tailored to what the student wants to learn.  We teach classical, popular, rock, composition, improvisation, as well as many other genres.  We teach beginning levels to early advanced levels.  And all ages from 3.5 years to adult.  

Lesson Rates

Our beginning level classe includes weekly 5-minute video lessons, interactive practice app, and online 8-minute private mini-lessons for $54/4-weeks.

Our online 30-minute private lessons are $40

Ages / Skill Levels Taught

We have 4 beginning levels depending on your child's age and previous musical knowledge. These levels will prepare your child to easily transition to private,  intermediate piano classes.  Our private teachers teach up to early advanced levels.  

My Musical Influences

Our teachers come from a variety of backgrounds.  

My inspiration for Move Over Mozart is to offer quality piano classes that are fun, convenient, and affordable.  Every child that wants to learn should be given the opportunity to play the piano.
