About Me
Piano lessons for children and adults
Classical, Jazz, Pop, Blues, Improvisation
Lindsy Martin was born in Southern California. She comes from a musical talented family: a father from a famous Motown group and an uncle who played in the Chicago Symphony. Lindsy did not begin her piano lessons until a late age of thirteen, but plays as though she has played her entire life. Lindsy has studied with Tania Fleischer and Sasha Alexeev. Lindsy has taught at the Music Maker Studio in Anaheim Hills. For the past six years she has taught from her own home studio, and one of her students has won the Disney Land Creativity Challenge. She is a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers from the American College of Music and recently joined the Music Teacher's Association. Lindsy holds a B.A. in Music from Loyola Marymount University and plans to receive a Masters in music in the near future. She has an incredible teaching gift and great relationship with her students.
All students learn technique, theory, aurel skills, and music notation. It is required that all students learn three pieces at a time from different musical periods. Every year students have the opportunity to perform in an annual recital. It doesn't matter whether you are beginner or advanced, a curriculum will be made to fit your needs and talent.
