About Me

Music By Melissa - Peoria, AZ

 I teach all styles of music in my studio and I am always the pianist for all of the lessons. I teach all ages - and specialize in today's music since I can play any style of music - any genre - by ear in any key and I can transpose by ear to any key the singer needs. I prepare singers to audition for all types of work in the music industry and work on not only vocal technique - but stage presence in order to be in front of a live audience on television. I am also highly skilled in coaching broadway music for singers. 

My teaching studio is one of the big accomplishments of my career here in Phoenix. Not only did I teach some of today's big artists' - including producing an American Idol (Jordin Sparks) - but I also participated in many music ventures in the community - mainly pianist at area country clubs - ballet companies and many private functions as the pianist. 

I am highly skilled as a pianist since not only do I have perfect pitch - but I can play all styles of music by ear and transpose on site as well as by ear. Since my studio is also a recording studio - I have produced over 750 of my own releases - all by ear - and all are available on all of today's digital music stores. These recordings also include classical and broadway selections – all by ear, and all featuring myself at the piano in my home recording studio.

I am the master at teaching todays music! Pop, country, rock, etc...  I have a background in classical music and opera as well as musical theater - but since i can play anything and everything by ear and transpose it to any key the singer wants - i am one of the few teachers in this area that can teach, sing AND PLAY on the piano that type of music!  Come see me!!
