About Me
I specialize in In Home piano and voice lessons for beginning and intermediate students. I started playing piano when I was 5 years old. I also sang in my mom's choirs growing up. Music was an important part of my life all through my formative years. I went to Berklee College of Music in Boston and studied voice and piano. I also did graduate work at Manhattan School of Music in NY, NY. I have 4 cds under my name and have guested on several other artists cds including Shawn Colvin and Jessica Simpson. I was on faculty at NYU and The New School in NYC and was a substitute music teacher grades K-8 in New York City. I was a jingle singer in New York and sang on several national ads such as Pillsbury, Cambbells, McDonald's, Macy's and Liz Claiborne. I was also a staff songwriter for 785 Music and have had my songs cut by National and International artists. I believe music lessons should be fun and challenging and I aim to make piano a non-threatening experience.
