About Me
I offer user friendly, beginning guitar lessons. All age groups invited. Individual lessons and group classes available. Students will learn guitar basics as well as all major and minor chords. Strumming styles will also be taught and students will be able to play several songs of their choice in a relatively short time. Call me!
My Musical Education Background
I have been playing guitar for over 50 years, performing for a good 30 of those. Self taught. I recently taught youth and adolescent courses for 3 years in Oregon at the Pendleton Center for the Arts. My user friendly approach is non-technical and relatively easy for students to acclimate to the guitar.
Genres and Subjects Taught
The basics I teach will provide a strong foundation for most any genre a student is interested in. My personal style is easy listening, soft rock, country/folk, with mild blues/jazz intonations.
Lesson Rates
Lessons typically last 60 - 90 minutes. - $50.00 per lesson - $250.00 for package of 6 - $400.00 for package of 10
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
All age groups welcome. Strumming styles, major and minor chords, and ability to play a full song (or more!). Students advancing beyond beginning basics will learn to 'dance within the chords', adding texture and flavor...
