About Me

What brought me to teaching: I started being interested in sharing my musical knowledge in high school. I would offer trombone and brass lessons to my friends in between the time after school and band rehearsal. I also had personal students outside of school since freshman year. So teaching is just something I’ve always done and loved doing. Being able to help people overcome obstacles is a very rewarding experience and I hope to continue teaching to a ripe old age.  I fell more and more in love with music in general post college, I began pursuing production and playing multiple instruments to ultimately create my own music fully created by myself which is what I am achieving today. Trying to achieve a higher level of skill each and everyday for myself and to better serve my students is one of the main driving forces of my life.   

Outside of music:  I enjoy bowling, photography and videography and my wonderful family. My dog Denzel and my fiancé Taylor are always joining me on little adventures in nature which luckily is very easy to find around Florida.

My Musical Education Background

10+ years of private music instruction. Classical trombone, piano and vocal study at the University of Florida.

Genres and Subjects Taught

Genres; classical, jazz, r&b, funk, metal, progressive metal, rock, pop, indie, musical theatre, electronic, contemporary, and ambient.
Subjects; music threory, harmony, ear training, improvisation, self improvement, goal making, digital audio workstations, music production and composition.

Lesson Rates

Lesson Rates are $30 for 30mins; $60 for an hour.

My Musical Influences

My musical influences are jazz, classical, contemporary and progressive metal.
