About Me
Craig is a lifetime musician with a very diverse background with over 40 years of experience as a professional performer. His music varies widely from classic rock, pop, and folk as well as drawing on his academic studies on classical guitar. Craig shares his wealth of experience at his private studio in Sylva, North Carolina.
My Musical Education Background
Craig has taught privately at Portman's Music and Rody's Music in Savannah, Georgia, and at his own studio, Guitar 101 in Madison, Georgia. He is establishing a guitar music studio, Guitar 2.0, in Sylva, North Carolina. He has studied guitar at Armstrong State College and University. He received his B.F.A. in Music from Georgia Southern University in 1996. He has studied classical guitar with Christopher Berg at the University of South Carolina and John Sutherland at the University of Georgia.
Genres and Subjects Taught
Lessons for all ages, all styles, teaching you the songs you want to play for acoustic, electric, and classical guitar. Craig has been teaching private lessons since 1978. He assesses each student's individual learning pace, and creates a program tailored specifically for each student. We learn songs!
Lesson Rates
$85 per month for 4 thirty minute lessons per month.
