About Me
I studied music and piano growing up and in college. Later, I had the wonderful opportunity to studio privately with a concert pianist for 8 years. I've taught piano for 25 years in my private piano studio, and I enjoy working with students of all ages and levels. Many of my younger students continue their studies through high school- often until they leave for college. I want to help students develop skills as a pianist and interpreter of music as well as enhance their love of and appreciation for music. I mostly teach afternoons and evenings during the week as well as on Saturday. I welcome beginning students as wel as those who are more advanced.
