About Me

Bonnie Lynn Pausic is the owner and operator of  Blue Skies Piano, affiliated with Lynn’s Music Service. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland where she earned a degree in piano performance. Bonnie instructs and mentors students in piano performance, music theory, music history and practical practice techniques. She continues to concentrate her studies of piano, conducting and interrelated musical disciplines at the Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey.

She has taught class piano and Kindermusik in various locations in Bowie, Maryland as well as maintaining a large roster of private individual piano students taught online. Her online students are local as well as out of state and international.  Many of her students win state and local competitions and continue to be accepted at many prestigious conservatories, colleges and universities.

Bonnie has taught both individual and class piano at the Prince George’s Community College. She has also mentored students in private and class piano, pedagogy, theory, ensemble performance and accompaniment techniques at The Suitland School for the Performance of the Arts. 

She judges for many local music associations in addition to the National Guild of Piano Teachers, where she is a certified teacher and a member of the Hall of Fame. She is a member of the Music Teachers National Association, the Maryland State Music Teachers Association, and is a former member of the Music Teachers Association of Bowie. In the latter organization, she has served as President, Vice President and Treasurer.

Lesson Rates

All possible lessons for the school year are added up, holidays and other closures are subtracted, and the remaining sum is divided into 10 installments. This makes the tuition affordable and predictable for the student.

Summer lessons are available also and are highly encouraged to maintain consistency of instruction.

Ages / Skill Levels Taught

Lessons in piano and allied subjects are offered to 4-year-olds up through adults.

Lessons in class piano are offered to Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Lessons in Kindermusik are offered to 6 weeks through age 7.
