About Me
I am a nationally certified music teacher offering piano lessons in my home in the Mount Vernon area of Alexandria Virginia. I offer performance opportunities many times a year, including two -three community service performances at an area retirement home. My students are also offered the opportunity to compete in the Virginia State Music Student Competitions via NVMTA and VMTA.
I have had the piano pedagogy courses specializing in the young beginner. However, I also love my adult students.
Half of each one hour lesson utilizes computer based programs reinforcing music theory, music appreciation, composition and ear training skills learned at the private lesson.
