About Me
I have recently moved back to Colorado. I am a native from Denver. I was in Bakersfield CA and was an active member in our local MTAC. Now I am living my dream of being back in Colo. with horses in my back yard. To make my dream complete I really want to continue teaching music which I love to do. I teach all styles and enjoy learning about new music and composers. I teach ages 7 through adults. I also teach out of a home in Loveland. I also enjoy playing at weddings and special events.
My Musical Education Background
I have a Bach. of Music from Univ. of Utah and Masters in Music from Boston University. I spent 7 summers up at Aspen Music Festival. Since graduating I have taught and performed since 1979. I perform locally and am the pianist at Namaqua UU Church.
I am certified with the Music Teacher National Association (NCMT). I also have experience with special needs children and classroom teaching. I belong to the Fort Collins MTA and encourage my students to participate in their events
Genres and Subjects Taught
Classical, folk, jazz,pop and ensemble music.
Have organized and taught adult workshops.
Group piano classes and workshops for children.
Lesson Rates
45 minutes- $30.
One hour- $35
All lessons include theory and technique.
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
Piano: 7 years old - adult.
Guitar student: 10 years old- adult.
