About Me
I have been teaching flute and piano lessons for 40 years. I love teaching all levels and abilities. I hold lesson time in my home studio located in the se paart of Grand Rapids. I am married with 2 musical children and a dog. I love to craft, travel and read and cook in my spare time.
My Musical Education Background
Bachelor of Music Performance, 1985- Grand Valley State Univeristy
A.M. Grand Rapids Junior College
on going training through PTF, MMTA, MNTA, West MI Flute Assoc.
Genres and Subjects Taught
flute- all levels. Also teach piccolo and alto flute
piano- all levels
music theory- teach all levels and abilities. Complete program grades K-12 and adults are always welcomed too!
Lesson Rates
$25 1/2 hour lesson
$35- 45 minute lesson
$45- one hour lesson
Family discount is available
accompanying for events is also offered at a fee.

My Musical Influences
Piano- I have studied with Joyce VerHaar, David Belcher, Dale Nyboer, Julianne VandenWynGaard
Flute- I have studied with Judith Kemph, Chris Kantner and Darlene Dugan. Darlene has probably been my biggest influence over the many years.
