It is my desire to help all my students develop a love for the piano.
Making music by reading notes on the page, and playing chords and bass lines by heart.

Hal Leonard, Alfred Premier, Faber and Faber, Music for Little Mozarts
Three books are incorporated in lessons. Piano Lesson Bk, Theory Bk, and Performance BK.
Theory and sightreading are also supplemented with the use of the ipad.
Video taping of lesson, and recording on digital piano with the use of flashdrives.
History of our classical composers using the Piano Explorer magazine.
Group Lessons four times a year for students signed up for private lessons.

I took piano lessons with Ms. Wendy for more than 10 years. She instilled in me a love of piano, an appreciation for composers of all genres, and the importance of learning the basics to master a skill! She has a kind, understanding, and encouraging teaching approach that brings out the best in all her students. I don't get to play much now but I can't walk by a piano without wanting to play it and thinking of her great lessons! Would recommend a hundred times over, especially with young students, as she is very patient.

Teach Wendy is really great with my two girls (ages 4 & 6). She is patient and makes it fun with stickers, records them on her iPad. Great, pleasant and fun attitude.
