About Me

Sasha Baro  - an accomplished musician and performer, Sasha started studying classical guitar at the age of seven under the direction and guidance of his grandfather Alexander (Sasha) Kolpakov, a celebrated Russian-Gypsy guitarist, and uncle Vadim Kolpakov, a virtuoso seven-string guitarist, dancer and singer. -- Sasha graduated from the Nostsova College of Music, has Professional Diploma (2013), and have been actively performing and competing both in Russia and abroad, including appearances with Gilya Romen, the Russian-Gypsy music group, and most recently, as an invited soloist of Via Romen in Singapore in 2014. sasha a recipient of numerous awards as a virtuoso guitar player at national and international music competitions. He moved to the U.S. in 2015 and performs all around the world. Sasha is also a representative of the guitar company Kremona and will be able to help with the selection of the instrument.

Genres and Subjects Taught

I teach from the very beginning levels to advanced levels. Guitar lessons of different styles: Classical, Jazz, Flamenco (Spanish guitar), Pop, World, Romani (Gypsy) music and more. Students can learn to read music from their very first lesson. Additionally students can learn how to play "by ear", improvise, compose, arrange and record songs.
