About Me
My name is Sylvia Graham and I have a great love for playing music! I play piano, violin, viola, cello, and occasionally compose some music. I typically play violin, viola, or cello for weddings, local musicals, and some church services.
I started teaching out of my home in 1999 and opened up my studio in May of 2009.

Bachelor's Degree in Music Theory and Composition from SIUC
Genres and Subjects Taught
Classes are offered to beginners of all ages. I feel that if a student has an interest in piano, they should start in one of my classes. The students have more enjoyment out of playing when they have a fellow student with the same interest.
We focus on rhythm by using provided percussion instruments in class, writing (with some composition) to learn hands on note reading, and singing for ear training.
Parent involvement is required for Toddler and Preschool ages. Recommended for the older ages but not required.
Students have the opportunity to perform for their families at a recital offered twice a year.

Try us out for a month for $60
45 min. - 55 min. per week, fee includes book
Toddler Classes -- 30 min. per week for 6 weeks -- $50
