I am a fun loving singer and teacher who enjoys passing my love of music on to others. It is important to me that my students are well rounded and serious about their progress but most importantly I want them to have fun and learn to have a passion about making music. I perform professionally throughout Southern California and try to help my students as they prepare for competitions and auditions if that is their goal.
My Musical Education Background
Azusa Pacific University - Young Artist Program 2009
Cal State University, Northridge - Master of Music with honors 2008
The Masters College - Bachelor of Music 2005
Genres and Subjects Taught
I teach classical piano to all ages of students with a strong focus on technique and music theory. I specialize in teaching voice and focus primarily on musical theater or classical voice.
I am currently offering a temporary disount if you mention finding me on (contact me). The first lesson is free and each additional lesson taken with in the month is 50% of the regular price. I charge $30 per half hour lesson and will teach hour lessons upon request.
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
I will teach piano from ages 5 and up. I will teach voice to children as long as parents understand that the focus will be on learning to read music and ear training while they are younger. Until there voices change they will not get much out of voice lessons technically as a singer. However, they can learn a lot about music and listening and enjoy singing songs. So depending on the student and the parent I will teach voice ages 5 and up.
My Certifications and Awards
I am a member of NATS, MTAC, and ACDA
