About Me

I started learning piano at the age of 8 yrs and fell in love with it. I have tried every genre of music with my classical music teacher and have the belief that every person is different and there is no 'one size fits all' when it comes to what music is to be learned as a musician. While there is some things pertanant to the study of music, there is no reason why a student can't enjoy what they play.

I have a master degree level of jazz theory, and have accompanied choirs, solo musicians, and professional theater. I have played in a latin ensemble, been in my fair share of recitals over the years, and have watched my students in their own recitals and enjoyed their accomplishments as musicians.

I love teaching and my goal with students is to help cultivate a love for music and the piano especially, giving them the knowledge and technics that help them to build their own confidences and portfolios.

In my spare time I enjoy arranging jazz standards, composing and continuing my studies in composition (you never can know enough!).

I have 13 years of private instruction focusing on jazz and classical music. Graduating with a major in music.

I teach jazz and classical genres.

Lesson Rates

$20.00 per half hour beginner lesson. 

$45.00 per hour intermediate to advanced.

Ages / Skill Levels Taught

I teach all ages and skill levels, however with online learning each person would need an assessment in the beginning depending on their age.
