About Me
I have been teaching guitar in Southern California since 1989. I have been playing for 30 years and performing publicly for 26 years.
I am currently teaching in CORONA and RANCHO CUCAMONGA.
My Musical Education Background
I have an A.A. In music from Chaffey College.
Genres and Subjects Taught
I can teach all styles of guitar. I put a lot of emphasis on the basics - method books, chords, note reading, scales and improvisation, etc., but I always remember that playing the guitar, if nothing else, should be fun!
Lesson Rates
I charge $90 a month for a 1/2 hour lesson a week.
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
8 - 100+ years. I find that some kids as young as 6 are ready for guitar lessons, but most are not. Most kids, however, are ready by age eight.

I am a graduate of the Guitar Institute of Technology (G.I.T.) in Hollywood, Ca..
My Musical Influences
I am a fan of a great number of guitar players. Brian Setzer, David Gilmour, Slash, Angus Young, B.B. King, Eric Clapton and Steve Morse are among my favorites!
