About Me
Hello! My name is Cecilia Peevey. I have been instructing piano, music theory, aural skills and music history for over 20 years, to students whose ages range from 4 to 75. I use customized lesson plans catered to the students' individuality.
My Musical Education Background
I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance from the renowned University of North Texas. In addition to performing, I have extensive training in piano pedagogy, music theory and aural skills, piano accompaniment, and music history. I served at University of North Texas as Teaching Fellow in the Piano Department and Music Theory Department from 1996-2002.

Lesson Rates
While every student has different needs, I generally recommend students who are beginners to take 30-minute lessons. The rate for each of these lessons is $35.
Students who have completed level 2 of their books will need 45-minute lessons, and each lesson is $50.
Upon completing level 4 of their books, students are recommended to take 1-hour lessons. The rate is $65 per lesson.
Late intermediate students and beyond require 1 1/2-hour lessons. The lesson rate is $100 per lesson.
