About Me

My name is Peggy Krause, and I have been teaching piano for 25 years. My students have won numerous awards for their performances.  I have served on the board of area music organizations affiliated with the National Association of Music Clubs and the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
 
My newest project is the Piano Club which teaches students to play classical works by rote. Lessons are online and designed for the more casual student who does not want to get into the weeds of note reading and music theory. Groups are available for both beginning and intermediate students.

My Musical Education Background

I studied  under the tutelage of Scandinavian pianist Margaret Vedeler before attending the Crestmont Conservatory of Music. I have also completed numerous Suzuki Method and music technology courses.

Genres and Subjects Taught

I am currently teaching through the Piano Club online program. We work primarily on classical works as well as a few contemporary and holiday pieces. These classes are designed for busy adults/teenagers.

Lesson Rates

The Piano Club, which includes multiple video lessons and personal video coaching sessions, is $60 a month.  A 50% off coupon is available for the first month.

Ages / Skill Levels Taught

The Piano Club is designed for busy teenagers and adults, who want an online lesson option that they can fit into their schedule. These lessons are designed for beginning and intermediate level students.

I also offer private in person lessons for elementary aged students at my studio in Evergreen Colorado.

My Musical Influences

I teach mostly classical works, but I also have an interest in contemporary composers and ensemble pieces.
