About Me
I am a current Master's student in Capella University's Marriage and Family Therapy program, with a Bachelor's degree in Human Development from Brigham Young University, and a past/current music lover, teacher, and traveler. I have taught music classes, children's choir, and private piano lessons in various countries and states. I live and breathe the melodic harmonies of Beethoven, Pandora, and the great outdoors. Music is all around us, and it genuinely refreshes the soul. I hope to, first and foremost, inspire and nourish the love of music in all of my students.
I grew up on weekly piano lessons and yearly competitions and recitals from the age of seven. From this, I recognize the beauty and satisfaction of instrumental achievement. Later, during a college excursion to Peru, I started free music and piano group classes, spawning a love for teaching. I started teaching piano professionally in 2014 and have taught in Peru, St. Maarten, Long Island, NY, and my new home here in Collingswood, NJ!
