The Marilou Padilla Gallardo Piano/Organ/Keyboard Studio was founded in 1990 in Oxon Hill,MD and has a current following of over 90 students from the greater Washington DC ,Southern Maryland and Northern Virginia areas.The studio is in operation all year long .
The studio specializes in private quality instruction from beginner to advanced levels from classical to contemporary
Lesson programs are designed to meet the specific individual needs of each student.This includes a balance of method studies,theory,sight reading,technique and repertoire appropriate to the graded level of student proficiency.
Concert repertoire for study include classical,jazz,religious,gospel,Latin,Filipino and contemporary popular music.
Student recitals ,concerts other performance opportunities and venues are highly encouraged and available for the benefit of the students.

Saturday:7:30am to 7:30pm

Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award-1983,1984,1985,1987,1989 for excellence in music education as a keyboard teaching specialist for Jordan Kitt Music from 1982-1990
2003 recipient of the Jordan Kitt Music Grant.This grant recently renamed as the Judith Ferencz Memorial Grant has been awarded since 1997 to members of the M.S.M.T.A,in recognition of teacher excellence for student development of piano students.
Adjudicator in various regional and local competitions in the greater Washington DC areas from 1984-1990 for Yamaha Keyboard Festivals
Member of international jury of the piano competition sponsored by the World Pedagogy Piano Conference in 2006 in Atlanta,Georgia
Founder and current President and chief executive officer of the MPG Keyboard Artists and Friends,Inc.; a non-profit organization founded in 2002 -with a 501(c)3 status sponsoring cultural and concert community events to promote awareness in the keyboard performing arts.
