About Me
I teach piano, organ and keyboard lessons. I have been teaching for over 25 years in my home studio and enjoy teaching various methods as suitable for the individual. Innovative beginner methods and improvising are methods I utilize in addition to traditional note reading methods. All ages and levels are welcome.
My Musical Education Background
I have studied music theory and piano at Towson University and have taken many music training seminars.
Genres and Subjects Taught
I have taught piano, organ and keyboard lessons in a wide variety of genres which include improvising, chord construction and their practical use and tradition/classical training in terms of technique and note reading.
Lesson Rates
My lesson fee is $15.00 per half hour lesson payable at the beginning of each month.
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
I have much experience teaching students from age 4 to 70.
My Certifications and Awards
I have received awards for the music ministry in which I am involved.
My Musical Influences
My musical influences include sacred and classical music. I am also quite fond of popular and rock music.
