About Me
The Leonard School of Music was organized in 1945 by Mr. Patrick Leonard and continues to spread the love of music today as a nonprofit entity. LSM is able to provide a unique musical experience in that classes are offered by several teachers with various backgrounds and teaching styles. Private lessons and band classes are available with teachers to inspire enthusiasm.
My Musical Education Background
We offer private music lessons at our school located on W. Montague Ave. Our instructors are university-trained professionals and have earned a strong reputation in the Charleston area. Instruction is available in flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium, bass, tuba, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, banjo, percussion/drums, and piano.
Private Lessons are a great way for young musicians to get one-on one instruction by a specialist on his or her instrument. At LSM, we can also offer that child the discipline, inspiration, and fun of working with other children in a large group setting, giving them the opportunity to participate and perform in the activities of the band.

Lesson Rates
Private Lessons rates for all instruments are $100.00 a month. That is for 4 half hour long lessons.
If anyone is interested in our Band and Jazz programs it is $65.00 a month. Please call us at (contact me) for our band schedule.
We also offering a summer band June. Cost of summer band in $120.00 per week, meeting Mon- Friday. Please call (contact me) for more information.
