About Me
Piano and voice teacher of over 30 years. Currently only teaching piano. I'm also pianist at a church.
My Musical Education Background
Over 30 years of teaching experience. Graduated with BA degree in music; piano as major instrument; voice as minor.
Genres and Subjects Taught
I use Faber and Faber series which, along with sight reading all genres of music (period music like: baroque, romantic, classical; also, jazz, gospel, folk etc) includes learning chord playing, playing from a lead sheet, theory and music composition. I will focus on teaching to play by ear, if a student seems gifted in that area, or asks to learn.
Lesson Rates
My rates are reasonable at $30 per lesson for a 30 minute lesson. One lesson per week is offered.

BA degree in music/piano performance.
My Musical Influences
Church music has definitely been my primary musical influence. Being raised in a pastor's home and being in church all my life has led to my life's career as a church musician.
