My Musical Education Background
I hold both a Bachelor and Masters degree in music performance from the University of North Texas.
Genres and Subjects Taught
Classical violin.
I specialize in preparing students for auditions.
Lesson Rates
I teach both 30 minute and one hour lessons. Beginners may want to start with a thirty minute lesson, but I recommend an hour for most intermediate and advanced students.
30 min. lesson. $40
one hour lesson $80
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
I have students of all ages and abilities.
My beginning students progress very quickly.
Intermediate and advanced students place very well in All Region and All State Orchestras and also perform with the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra.
My adult students enjoy their lessons and rediscover their love for violin, often performing in church orchestra or community groups.
My Certifications and Awards
I am a member of the Texas Music Educators Association.
My Musical Influences
I have played the violin since the age of five and truly love teaching others. I have the benefit of 20 plus years of experience teaching and playing look forward to meeting you and helping you or your child learn more about violin.
