About Me
In 2025, my family moved to Juneau, Alaska. We are loving the beautiful scenery and rain. Before Juneau, I taught voice in Texas, California and Utah.
I have a deep love for singing and performing. I began singing with my family at the age of 3 and was performing in public beginning at age 4. As a teenager, I began singing barbershop music with my 3 sisters as the baritone in our quartet. A cappella music is so fun to sing! It can also be challenging and requires a good ear.
I have one son and love being a wife and mother.
My Musical Education Background
In 2003, I graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelors of Music, choral education emphasis, and French minor. After graduation, I had the unique opportunity to become a member of the world-renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I enjoyed working with many great directors and guest artists. I also sang on numerous recordings, in addition to performing on the weekly radio and television broadcast of Music and the Spoken Word.
Currently, in addition to the many barbershop educational opportunities in which I participate, I stay current with my musical skills and education as a member of Sweet Adelines International.
