About Me

music and the piano has been my life and still is, there is so much to learn and teach without an end and no body is to old or to young to profit form a leaning process and a way to help our health , which music is a big part of , the healing and learning power of music is not yet known to every one and I am trying to share what I have found through all my teaching years and make good pianists if the student is willing to study and enhance his brain in many ways.

My Musical Education Background

My musical education started at an early age but was interrupted for a few years , after that I studied with famous pianists in Europe and got my Master Degree in Piano and Padagogy in Germany
studied and performed in classical ways, teaching and lecturing in Europe and the USA I developed my own theory to teach also the chord system and improvisation , I play classical , modern, jazz , and so on , having no age limit on my mind , also started to teach voice coaching and accompany on the piano since I also sing standards and jazz. A very good age to start a child is hard to say, it depends on the child's ability to want to play and practice , which is always a problem it takes time to find the right connection to a students mind.
After teaching for many years I feel very qualified and understand where to start at any level or any age.

there are too many to list here , that is a personal matter if a student has any questions they can ask me personal at a later time

Lesson Rates

my rates are by the hour or forty five minutes , I will not teach thirty minutes that is just not enough time for the student or me , for farther information about rates you will have to contact me or call me at (contact me) , I also require an interview and meeting at any age or with the parents and the child before I accept a student
my rates a not higher than any good teacher has in this area .

Ages / Skill Levels Taught

I have no age levels , because I believe any body can learn to play the piano at any age and time , if just to enhance there health or feel younger , a teacher should be able to adjust to any age, of course not to become a famous pianist for that you have to start at a very young age. Just to give you a little idea, my youngest student was 4 years and my oldest was 8o when she started it improved her health and she stayed with me till age 92 playing little Chopin pieces and more.

Music Hochschule Heidelberg Germany B/A
University and music academy Karlsruhe Germany M/degree in piano and as a padagog special teaching. I studied with Dr. Creco in Denver Colorado advanced piano, I also have been involved with children who have special needs and can be helped with music therapy , even learning how to speak and react to music and rhythm,
to many things to write about , and at this moment I am working with my Husband DR, Henry Monteith on a theory to include music math, science, geometry and music into a whole theory.

My Musical Influences

I do not have to say to much here, because of my testimony on this site, but I volunteer playing the piano at the Memorial hospital on Friday for the last seven years and there is no way I can tell you how happy it makes people to hear good music , also lecture and play in retirement homes.
