FISHKILL MUSIC ACADEMY CELEBRATES ITS GRAND OPENING AT THE DUTCHESS PARK SHOPPING CENTER

In 2003 Mike Benninger opened a guitar & music lesson studio named Mike’s Guitar Studio. In 2013 Benninger expanded into what has grown to be the largest private music school in Orange County, New York - New Windsor Music Academy. The music school instructs more than 600 students in guitar, piano, voice, bass, drums, ukulele, and more for students age 4 and up.

On May 24th, the New Windsor Music Academy opened its second location, Fishkill Music Academy in Suite 9 in the Dutchess Park Shopping Center in Fishkill, NY.

Director Mike Benninger says about the expansion:

“We’re very excited to be in Fishkill.  It’s an addition we’ve wanted to make for years.  So many of our teachers and clients live on this side of the Hudson River.  Our new school has plenty of parking and brand-new lesson rooms. It’s a modern, upscale space. It’s going to be a great addition to the Fishkill fine arts scene.  

An important part of our music lesson experience is our great customer service to the parents, including regular communication on their child’s progress.  Adult students receive first-class treatment from our office staff to always make sure everything is going smoothly with their lessons.  We are one of the only schools in the area that employs full-time office staff to assist our clients with their music lessons.  The school is open to everyone ages 4 and up with private lessons in voice, guitar, piano, bass, drums, ukulele, and more.”

My Musical Education Background

Our instructors have degrees from Julliard, Manhattan School of Music, Berklee College of Music, Yale, Princeton, as well as many years of teaching and performing experience.

Lesson Rates

A 1/2 hour is $33 and an hour lesson is $66
