About Me
My family and I moved to Thurmont, MD in June 2021. I enjoy teaching piano and I'm acccepting students at my studio in Thurmont and also Hagerstown. Check out my website: (contact me)
My Musical Education Background
Erin holds a B.A. in Music (piano) with an emphasis in Composition and Arranging from Asbury University in Wilmore, KY. She studied piano with Denise Mathias, Dr. Donald Zent, and Yvonne Jenkins and composition with Dr. Ron Holz and Dr. Vicki Bell. She has experience teaching piano students ranging from beginner to advanced and currently teaches at her studio in Thurmont. Erin is an accompanist and has accompanied vocalists, instrumentalists, and choral groups. After completing her B.A. in Music, she studied organ with Mark Mathias and Rebecca Lepore. She is organist at a Lutheran Church in Hagerstown and has also served as Organist and Director of Music in Episcopal and Moravian churches in addition to service playing experiences in various other denominations. Erin is a member of the Central Maryland and Cumberland Valley Chapters of the American Guild of Organists. She is also a member of Frederick County Music Teachers Association.
Genres and Subjects Taught
Lessons consist of technique, repertoire, music theory, and ear training.
Students have the option of 30 minute, 45 minute, or 1 hour lessons.

Experience teaching students of various ages ranging from beginners to advanced. Ages taught range from 5 years old through adult.
