About Me
I teach Guitar and Bass. I teach all styles including Rock, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Flamenco, Fingerstyle, Latin Jazz, Songwriting, and Recording. I have 24 + years of teaching and gigging experience. I have taught and performed in diverse settings including the Midwest, Hawaii, New York, and 10 years in London all of which I maintained between 70-80 private students a week, some of which have gone on to get their own record deals, teach and/or perform for a living. My success and reputation is based on the success of my students.
My Musical Education Background
self taught hard worker. Started winning guitar competitions in.my early twenties which led to my first teaching job and I never looked back.

Lesson Rates
$40 for a weekly hour long lesson at my home, travel is negotiable. The month is paid for in advance on the first lesson of every month. No shows are non refundable. Cancelations by myself are either rescheduled, carried over to the next month as a credit, or simply refunded

My Certifications and Awards
I have won a few guitar wars competitions in Rapid City, South Dakota. Toured as an opener for Tom Jones and Cliff Richards in England. Have had several songs or parts of my songs placed in independent films. Was the first "in house" teacher for American Musical Supply in Upstate New York and helped them to develop their teaching program.
