About Me
Music is a life-enriching experience that can be enjoyed throughout one's lifetime. Learning piano is fun. Taking lessons keeps you practicing and working on improving your skills. I have a relaxed approach with positive reinforcement while still striving for excellence and improvement.
My Musical Education Background
I have a Bachelor degree in Music Education from Texas Christian University. When I graduated I taught piano lessons for 10 years. Since retiring from the business world , I have been teaching piano for 3 years. I have been working with Children's choirs in church.
Genres and Subjects Taught
I like to expand my music student's appreciation of different types of music from classical to pops with music that is at the student's playing level. I will work in styles and genres of music you like customizing lessons to suit your needs and goals.
