I am a dedicated, involved musician with a primary focus on music education, and 12+ years experience teaching piano, music theory, and coaching small chamber ensembles. My lessons are comprehensive: you will learn about understanding music as well as how to play the piano. I teach a relaxed, natural technique so that you can play the piano for a lifetime with enjoyment and without fear of injury. Lessons are in my studio on my grand piano; home lessons can often be arranged as well. Recital opportunities are available throughout the year for youth and adult students.
My Musical Education Background
I have a Master of Music in Piano from New England Conservatory of Music, and Bachelor of Music, Summa Cum Laude, in Piano and Music History.
