Where are Lessons Offered
In Teacher Studio
In Student Home
I am passionate about music and teach with enthusiasm. My students perform in an annual recital and have optional competition and performance opportunities throughout the year. In lessons, I emphasize note-reading, ear-training, technique, theory, and interpretation.
I have 13 years of teaching experience and hold a Masters in Music degree from Boston University (piano performance with an emphasis in pedagogy), a Bachelor of Music from Baylor University, and a post-graduate diploma from a year of music study in Europe. I am a member of the Music Teacher's National Association and the National Guild of Piano Teachers. Whether a student dreams of being a concert pianist or just wants to learn piano as a hobby, I will encourage and equip them to be the best pianist they can be.
*Please note: I teach all lessons from my home studio in Princeton and do not travel to teach. I currently have very limited openings only on Mondays and Wednesdays (although I have more availability for homeschooled students who can come in the daytime). Please contact me for more information. Thank you!

My three children were fortunate to spend two years studying with Bethanne. She is gentle and encouraging in her teaching style, yet knew how to motivate my kids, each with a different learning style. I often sat in on lessons and am so thankful for all that I learned. She does a phenomenal job at weaving theory and music history into every lesson.

Bethanne is a wonderful piano teacher. She is an amazing pianist and she shares her gift and knowledge with her students. I'm certain you will love her as much as we do. She has always been friendly, patient and encouraging. My daughter has learned to play beautiful music in a year and a half and she looked forward to every lesson because she says Bethanne is "fun and helpful".
I have 2 children that have taken piano lessons from Bethanne for a little over 1 1/2 years. Bethanne is supportive, encouraging and patient with her students. She is a great pianist, as well as a very nice person. My kids have loved going to their lessons from day one and their growth in their piano studies has been exceptional. We are very sad to lose Bethanne to NJ, but we wish her the best with her very lucky future students.
