About Me

My teaching methods are based on these beliefs:

• music is a part of all of us and the role of the teacher is to enable the student to connect to their own musical ability by focusing on rhythm, pitch, and harmony, and ear training
• the keyboard is an ideal pathway to learning any musical instrument
• weekly private lessons and goal-based practice allow the student to grow in their musical ability
• music is fun and connects us to the world through our imagination and expression
