About Me

I provide piano lessons in the Fort Collins and surrounding area. I can make house calls or provide lessons at Boomer Music Company.

I am in my second year working on my Doctor of Arts degree in Piano Performance from UNC in Greeley.

All ages are welcome. The first lesson is free to try it out!

My Musical Education Background

BA in Music from Mississippi State University

MM in Piano Performance from Louisiana State University

Studied singer accompanying in Salzburg, Austria for one summer

Studied 2 years for Master's in Music Therapy

Currently in 2nd year of Doctor of Arts degree in Piano Performance at the University of Northern Colorado

Genres and Subjects Taught

Classical, Popular, and some Jazz music.

Theory tutoring also.

Lesson Rates

$45-60 per hour, depending on mileage.

Active member of MTNA
1st place winner in state competitions for MTNA five times
Asked to play in a recital for the UNC Piano Festival 2014

My Musical Influences

I have enjoyed all of the different teachers I have had in the past. I especially enjoyed summer camps in high school. They were fun, and I received excellent teaching from some of the best teachers around the nation.
