About Me

I am not accepting new students at this time.

I have been studying and teaching piano all my life!  Training through MMTA and University of St. Thomas has made me an excellent teacher.  I have always tried to learn as much as I can from other teachers so I can give my best to my students.

I teach in my home studion near Eagan High School. My husband and I have four children and eight grandchildren. I sing in Exultate, a professional choir, and have been Director of Music at a church in Minneapolis for 40 years.

Certificate in Piano Pedagogy, University of St. Thomas (graduate program in piano pedagogy)

Hundreds of hours of continuing education classes through universities and Minnesota Music Teachers Association

Genres and Subjects Taught

I am a traditional piano teacher.  I teach using method books and the MMTA curriculum. Students learn to read music, play artistically, and perform. They play jazz, classical, pop and their own improvisations. When students work hard to develop their potential, they achieve wonderful results! Best of all is the joy of making beautiful music!
