About Me

I am a university trained musician with over 25 years of professional experience. My very diverse background in several genres of music including Pop, Jazz, Gospel and R&B, uniquely quailifies me to teach. I give private piano and voice lessons in my home studio in Stockbridge GA. I'm originally from NYC. I hold BA degree from Queens College NYC. I've also studied at the Juillard School and Brookyn Conservatory Of Music also in NYC. During the late 80's i toured extensively with various artist signed to RUSH PRODUCTIONS, owned and operated by rap mogul RUSSELL SIMMONS. My formal training coupled with my years of practical experience makes me an expert in the areas of Keyboard and Vocal Training.

My Musical Education Background

I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Queens College, NYC. I was a piano and composition major. I studied piano and music theory at the Brooklyn Conservatory Of Music, NYC. I also took composition and theory classes at the famed Juillard school in NYC.

Genres and Subjects Taught

My diverse training and experience qualifies me to teach a variety of musical lessons, including, piano, voice, music theory, audio engineering, producing and arranging. I am also an expert PRO TOOLS engineer and i gave special instructions on that sotware platform.

Lesson Rates

Lessons fees are as follows:

$50 per hour lesson

$25 per half hour lesson

Students pay for 4 lessons in advance

There is a one-time material fee charge of $25

Ages / Skill Levels Taught

The youngest student that I will accept is 8 years old, however I must have a pre-interview with all students under 10 years old to determine their comprehension level.

I welcome all levels from beginners to advanced.

My Certifications and Awards

I have numerous awards and certificates, much to many to list here. However i will mentipn my latest award which was given by our current president BARACK OBAMA Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient 2016. the award ceremony will take on November 20th, 2016

My Musical Influences

I have a very electic musical background and therefore musical influnces that range from a variety of musical genres including, Classical music, Jazz, Gospel, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Ethnic, and the list goes on. I'll just throw a few names of my favorites: CHICK COREA, TIMBALAND, TEDDY RILEY, KIRK FRANKLIN,J.S. BACH
