About Me

I am an experienced, Russian piano teacher, performer, and an active member of different Music Organizations. Each year I attend national and international conferences, workshops, seminars and institutes, seeking for new ideas and fresh artistic impression. I base of teaching on the belief that even a beggining student must learn (along with basic music notation and theory) to execute precise and healthy physical movements that will allow him to create a truly musical performance. Also beginning at early stages of instruction I devote considerable attention to the art of music interpretation.

I require one recital at the end of school year for all students. This is a good opportunity to share thier accomplishments with family and friends.

Through my membership in MTFA (Frisco Music Teachers Association), MTNA (National Music Teachers Association), NAMTA (North American Music Teachers Association), my students have the opportunity to participate in different music events, such as: Recitals, Competitions, Festivals, State Theory Tests and State Ensembles and many more. Competitions, festivals, and theory tests are offered through out the year by music teacher association. Participation in these events are strongly recommended but not forced.
My Musical Education Background
9 years of Classical Music School and 4 years of Bachelor degree (honored) in Classical Piano Performance, Music Theory, Accompaniment and Pedagogy in Russia. 5 years of Master degree in Psychology. Certified Member of the International Center of the Music Education (Russia, Moscow).
Genres and Subjects Taught
Teaching music is my full time profession. I teach all ages and levels. My goal is to give to my students the best knowledge in music and piano playing.
