My two children have received piano lessons from Meiling for 4 years. My first child started in kindergarten and the second started in second grade. Meiling is very professional and very personable. She has been encouraging to the children and pays attention to their differences in learning. She is always very thoughtful in planning her lessons so each child will feel successful and not be overshadowed by a sibling. She encourages them to practice and challenge themselves. They get to participate in piano recitals I really love that she allows parents to be a part of the lesson, if they wish. This has been an asset because I can help my kids at home. She’s even encouraged me to take videos when they are having difficulties. I don’t have a background in music and yet she equips me so I can help the kids. I would definitely recommend Meiling Martin as a piano teacher.
